A name or location entered in a search box is sent directly to the third-party company that operates the tool. That provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep a local log of those search terms.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Grant County Criminal History does not host, compile, or sell a personal criminal-record database. It identifies official routes such as Grant County courts, the sheriff, detention, New Mexico DPS, NMCD, and the New Mexico DPS Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a third-party criminal file. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies provide the site's search tools. Their privacy policies, retention rules, and sharing practices govern information submitted through those boxes. Review the applicable partner policy before running a query because we do not control those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to court portals, sheriff pages, state agencies, legal resources, or search providers. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Check it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads.

We do not sell personal information. Data may be available to these limited recipients:

Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger than 18. Information identified as a minor's will be deleted when a valid request brings it to our attention.
Your Data Rights
Rights vary by residence and the kind of record involved. New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act, Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12 NMSA 1978, governs requests to public agencies, while Section 29-10-6 NMSA 1978 governs a person's access to that person's state arrest-record information. Those laws do not turn this private site into a government custodian. Subject to applicable privacy law, a visitor may:
- Object to certain forms of processing
- Request deletion of personal data
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Ask for access to personal information held about them
